Hi, I have been running the stable branch for a while and recently switched to the dev branch. Both give the same problem in that the HVR-2200 works fine for a while (maybe 24 hrs) but then refuses to lock on any channel (MythTV shows 'No Lock' for all channels). I'm in the UK. Any ideas as otherwise things are hunky dory. Thanks, Alfie.

I'm in the same boat as Kaf..... Rogers Cable in Canada encrypts all stations over cable, so I've had to go the HD-PVR route for HD. I've been keeping an eye on this board, hoping that eventually the analog would be supported under Linux, and I could use it for SD over SVideo, and eventually ATSC.

Hi, I have tested the driver and it seems to work OK... however, being digital only it is of very limited used to me since my cable provider (Videotron, QC, Canada) has only advertisement on ClearQAM and ATSC is comming to Canada only in 2011... this been said, the question: Is there any work being done on the analog tuners? Is it reasonable to expect such a driver in the near future? Thanks!

Nope this is working pretty smoothy for everyone else, make sure you're in the saa7164-stable directory at this point ... and you'll need any associated compiler tools installed etc.

Using instructions from http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-2200, specifically.... "make menuconfig' I get the error... "make: *** No rule to make target `menuconfig'. Stop."
Any ideas why I might be getting this. Thanks
